FREEDARE and its parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliated entities ("Freedare", "we", "our" or "our") have implemented various security measures to maintain the security of your personal information. We believe that privacy is more than a compliance issue and strive to manage personal information in accordance with our core value of respecting the individual. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, which explains how we collect, use, share and process your personal data, and the rights and choices you have in relation to this data.

This Privacy Policy applies to the use of Freedare's official website (www.freedarebike.com), applications (Freedare), and products (collectively, the "Services"). 1.  What Information Do We Collect

1.1  When you use our website (www.freedarebike.com) to purchase our products online, register for our online account, subscribe to our email marketing newsletter, participate in our sweepstakes, surveys, programs, or events, request specific product needs from us, when submitting a product review on our website, contacting us for customer service, or interacting with us through our online services, FREEDARE may collect the following information you submit:

Account information, order information, and interaction information, including your name, email address, shipping address, phone number, city, country, zip code, payment card information, and billing address. In addition, we will record the products or services you purchase on our website, as well as feedback, pictures, and videos for our products; in order to help us better improve customer experience and our products.

1.2  While using the APP, We may gather the following information (which may or may not be personal information):

1.2.1  When you create an account on our APP, you will provide us with some of your necessary personal information, including your username, password, email address, or phone number.

1.2.2  When you use the functions and social services of the Routebook Function, we will also collect the content you create, upload or save, which may include the path track you provided to us. This includes your nickname, gender, profile picture, home page background, etc. on your profile.

1.2.3  Software installation information: Find your Bike. When your bike is lost, in order to enable you to find the location of the vehicle more accurately, we need to obtain your software installation information to determine whether your phone can show the nearest planned route for you via Google Maps.

1.2.4  Device Information: Information related to your device. For example, hardware model, unique device identifier IMEI, device MAC address, SIM card information, and status, etc.

1.2.5  Bike Information: Information related to your bike. For example, bike type, bike model, bike warning information, bike failure, etc.

1.2.6  Location information (only for specific services/functions): When you use Freedare APP, we may obtain your location information. For example, in order to improve your riding experience, we may collect your bike location, GPS information, IP address, city code, country code.

1.2.7  Log Information: Information related to the use of our equipment. For example, we may collect network request information, standard system logs, program crash information, and other identifier information. All such information will be stored locally on your device and will not be sent to us unless you request it. Please note that this information is only used for problem solving and is not saved on remote servers.

1.2.8  Feedback: With your authorization, we will collect your feedback after you actively report the problems. The feedback information will include user feedback questions, such as pictures, files, text, contact information, application version, phone system type (Android or IOS), feedback time, etc.

1.2.9  Clipboard Information: With your authorization, we may read your clipboard content when you use Freedare APP. For example, nickname change, ebike rename, etc.

1.2.10  Sensor information: With your authorization, when you use Freedare APP, we may obtain your orientation sensor information. For example, the display compass, etc.

Special tips:

SIM card. If you use our SIM card, the SIM card will collect the user information (bike data, bike riding information) for bike networking, data collection, remote functions, remote alarm functions, etc. The service period of the SIM card is one year, and you need to renew the service after it expires to continue using it.

Invocation of device permissions. When you use the APP, it may asks for some of your mobile phone permissions, the specific permissions are subject to the software version you use), we will obtain your consent in the form of a pop-up window before getting the relevant permissions for the first time, you can choose to turn off some or all of the permissions under the setting function of the mobile phone or similar functions according to the user guide of the mobile operating system. If you turn off these authorizations, we will no longer continue to collect and use your corresponding information, nor can we provide you with the functions corresponding to these authorizations.

2.  How Do We Use The Information

We use the information you provide to us for the purpose of providing products or services to you and to ensure that we comply with applicable laws and other purposes permitted by law. The information we collect from you may be used in the following ways:

2.1.  To process transactions, including executing your payment and delivering the requested purchased product or service. To administer contests, special promotions, surveys, events, or other site features.

2.2.  Send regular emails
The email address you provide for order can also be used to send you important information and updates related to your orders, in addition to occasionally receiving company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

2.3.  Sending regular SMS messages
The phone number you provide during customer registration and/or order processing may occasionally be used to send you important marketing and promotional information related to products and services that you may will interested in.

2.4.  To provide, process, maintain, improve, develop our APP and/or provide you with services, including after-sales service and customer support, and services provided through equipment or websites.

2.5.  To communicate with you via the APP about your bike, services or any general inquiries (such as updates, customer consultation support, information about our activities, notifications), etc.

2.6.  To analyze the statistical information related to the use of our products and services to improve our products and services.

2.7.  To optimize the performance of the device. Optimize and update our APP more suitable for your mobile device.

2.8.  To store and maintain information related to you in the APP for our business operations or fulfillment of legal obligations.

2.9.  To provide local services without the APP communicating with the server.

2.10.  To create your FREEDARE APP account. The personal information will be collected when creating an APP account through a mobile device.

2.11.  To show bike detailed information. When the device is connected via Bluetooth, the bike information will be shown on Freedare APP, and you can check related information of the bike through the app, such as speed, mileage, model, battery information, headlight status, etc.

2.12.  To provide location-based services. When using Freedare APP to connect a bike, access to your location may be required. You can turn off this setting at any time by checking your device settings or stopping using the app.

2.13.  To provide after-sales service. If you request to provide after-sales service, we will use your log information. The information will be sent to the after-sales engineer by email. Please note that this information is only used for problem solving, we will not save it to the server.

2.14.  To personalize your experience. Your information helps us better respond to your individual needs.

2.15.  To improve our website and the shopping experience. We are constantly striving to improve our products based on the information and feedback from you.

Public Comments and User Generated Content:

Please note that we offer public commenting features and other interactive features to share user-generated content on our sites and apps. Any information you post or disclose using this feature will become public information and will be available to other users of our services and the public. We urge you to be very careful when decide to disclose your personal data or any other information. If you send feedback to us, we may use and show such feedback on our website, but we do not associate such feedback with your personal data. If you agree to do so, we may publish your first and last name and your feedback on our website. 5.Do We Share The Personal Data We Collect

We are committed to protecting your personally identifiable data, which you have chosen to keep private. We will only share your personal data in the following circumstances:

Service providers that work with Freedare, including platform service providers, logistics providers and payment processors. In such cases, we will require these service providers to respect your privacy and your private personal data.

5.1  Suppliers who provide platform services. Our website is hosted on Shopify Inc. Shopify provides us with an online e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products to you. Your personal data may be stored through Shopify's data stores and databases. You may also want to read Shopify's Terms of Service or Privacy Policy for more information.

5.2  Providers of Delivery Services. We may share your contact information, such as name, address and phone number, with these suppliers in order to complete delivery of the products.

5.3  Suppliers who provide APP development. We may share your contact information in the APP with these suppliers, such as email, riding equipment, riding data, phone numbers and other functions required by the APP.

5.4  We may share some of your personal data with our partners (including parent companies, subsidiaries, other companies controlled by us or jointly controlled with us, and joint venture partners), in which case we will require these partners to respect your personal data.

When there is a legal obligation or protection from harm. When we have a good faith belief that accessing, using, storing or disclosing personal data is necessary to (a) obey any laws, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request; (b) enforce or investigate a potential violation of the Terms of Use; (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise respond to fraud, security, or technical issues; (d) protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public from harm.

6.Your Choices Regarding the Use of Your Personal Data

You can choose to stop receiving marketing information. You may choose to provide us with your email address so we can send you free newsletters, surveys, offers and other promotions. You may stop receiving promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in the emails you receive. If you decide not to receive promotional emails, we may still send you service-related information. If you sign up to receive text messages from us containing promotional communications, you may opt out of receiving future communications by replying "STOP."

You can view and correct your personal data held by us, including within the Freedare website and app. If you ask us to delete personal data, such personal data will be permanently deleted and we will no longer retain that personal data in any form. If you wish to stop further collection or use of your personal data, or to delete your email address, you may choose to permanently delete your account by emailing support@freedarebike.com. Please note that by permanently deleting your account, you may lose access to most features of Freedare Electric Bikes. To restore functionality in the future, you can set up a new account.

7.Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 16. If you believe that a child is using our Services without appropriate consent, you may contact us at the email address indicated in the "Contact Us" section below and we will promptly delete the data from our systems.

8.Third-Party Websites

Please note that our website may contain links to third-party websites, such as delivery service providers and social media pages. These links are provided for your convenience only. These third-party sites and services have and are governed by separate privacy policies and data collection practices. We are not responsible for third-party websites or their privacy practices and encourage you to read the privacy policies of the websites you visit.

Freedare adopted this section to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ("CCPA") and the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), and applies solely to residents of the State of California ("California Consumers"). Without limiting the foregoing, this section provides California Consumers with the disclosures and notices required under the CCPA. Certain exceptions and limitations may apply to a California Consumer’s rights and Freedare’s obligations under the CCPA.

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. All such changes to how Freedare uses your personal data will be reflected in this Privacy Policy. We will let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
